If you must be outdoors :

• Wear a sunscreen with a strong SPF protection, despite our beliefs, sunburn can be painful and sometimes result in permanent damage to your skin.
• Wear loose-fitting clothes, comfortable clothes.
• Always stay hydrated - Water - lots of it is the Mantra! 
• Do not leave pets or children in the vehicles unattended.

If you are indoors : 

• Cover windows and doors with heavy drapes to block sunlight as much as possible.
• Use temporary window reflectors - aluminium foil-covered card-boards to reflect the heat outside.
• Ensure you have a steady and solid supply of water and keeping yourself hydrated is the goal.
• Avoid any kind of extreme physical exertion as it can cause fatigue.

I bought a can to experiment, and ended up buying a couple more! It's thinly sliced, and packed around parchment paper, and is very good. I have used it straight up, and cooked with it. This canned bacon has worked well with every recipe. I'm now keeping a can in my camping gear just in case my bad hunting skills leave me in need of a morale boost.
