Some folks are so wrapped up in the most ridiculous excuse for a presidential season ever seen that they are oblivious to the fact that in recent weeks we have stepped into a global situation so serious it is being compared to the Cuban Missile Crisis.
This morning, CNN is reporting that this is not even just another Cold War with proxies doing battle on the behalf of nuclear powers Russia and the U.S., but that it is now open military conflict between the powers themselves in Syria and potentially elsewhere.
How is that possible, you might ask, since nary a peep is being reported in the mainstream media in America?
Missiles are being fired back and forth in the Gulf of Aden. Today, Iran is sending destroyers to the area.
UK fighter pilots have been ordered to shoot down hostile Russian fighter jets over Syria. Russian fighters have been ordered to shoot down US planes that get in their way.
Russia has ordered government officials to immediately bring back their children studying abroad, and reports also suggest the order extends to any relatives living outside of Russia.
The US administration has effectively stated they will hack Russia in response to Russian hacking of US government and business operations.
The Russians are repeatedly warning of nuclear war and have held a gigantic civilian sheltering drill within their country.
If you're not paying attention yet--wake-up.
None of us ... nay not even all of us together can change what is happening now. But what you must do for the welfare of your loved ones is to prepare for a world at war, an economic collapse, and civil chaos and lawlessness in every neighborhood.
Stock up today on all the necessities--check your preps and top them off. Do what you need to do.
Prepare and fortify.

WWIII Threat Rapidly Building; Time to Get Ready and Be Steady
If you're not paying attention to what is happening in the Middle East, you'd better cast your gaze that way now. A war of Biblical proportions is fast shaping up that, if it escalates much further, WILL involve the U.S., no matter how cowardly the current administration behaves (and in the end BECAUSE of how spineless our foreign policy of the last 7 years has been).
There's not a darn thing you or I can do about any of it except in how we each respond to this threat personally.
I'm seeing a lot of folks out there breathlessly following every headline, every tweet, every official pronouncement and denial. Some are offering their best militaristic talking-head analyses of what comes next.
Of course most Americans are simply in denial or absolutely ignorant of the cascading situation.
Proper Prepping
This may indeed lead to the long-feared superpower confrontation that will out of necessity go thermonuclear. No proxies lobbing hand grenades at each other ... we're talking ICBMs passing in the night, hackers taking down the grid and all communications, global terror, the plains of Armageddon filling up with blood ... and that's just in the first few minutes of the conflict.
Obviously worst case. But if you are ready for the worst, anything else will be easier.
Are you squared away?
We have no idea how much longer we might have to stock up the larder, to top off supplies. But assuming you are doing that or have done that to your satisfaction, the mindset to survive and to carry forward for the sake of your loved ones is something that no doubt could use some attention. It's pre-game. They're all suited up.
Get your game-face on.
No--it's not a game, but it's about winning. Beating the odds. Getting your team to the other side.
If this all goes bottom up, there will be no help coming when you need it the most. You and yours will be on your own.
Unless of course your faith in God and your relationship with Him through prayer are strong. In which case--you can't be in better shape. History has shown time and again that God alone will sustain folks miraculously.
But none of us are going to want to put God to that test if we have the opportunity and the resources to do our best to help Him help us.
To-date, for many of us, prepping has been about supplies and training and awareness. With the heads-up we are now getting as we see the smoke rising and spreading over the horizon, serious preppers are now steeling themselves for whatever comes next.
If this actually happens, it will be hell on earth. Resolve and personal focus will be key for any who get through it. The time is right now to start pulling that together internally.
If we all manage to escape the threat this time ... nothing lost, but maybe some additional spiritual fiber gained.

The world is facing a growing threat of nuclear war
Within the next few weeks, after years of stalling and evasion, Iran may at last agree to curb its nuclear programme.
In exchange for relief from sanctions it will accept, in principle, that it should allow intrusive inspections and limit how much uranium will cascade through its centrifuges.
After 2025 Iran will gradually be allowed to expand its efforts. It insists these are peaceful, but the world is convinced they are designed to produce a nuclear weapon.

Wise to Prepare for all Possibilities … including War

Back in the day, the enemy was clear and well-defined. We
were nose to nose with the Warsaw Pact, and during the days of the Cold War,
intell was the primary theater for hostilities. Engagement with the enemy was
all about dealing with the knowledge that the stakes were as high as humanly
possible ... daily, with every weave, duck, and feint.
Even today, in spite of some obvious evidence of late to the
contrary, most say the free ideologies of western society won that latent war.
That communism and the Soviet Union backed down and turned over a new leaf.
That we the victors were able to triumphantly beat swords into plowshares. That
mankind somehow crossed over into a higher plane where major hostilities
between global powers and subsequent devastation were no longer to be feared.
Well ... I always had to be counted a cynic on that one. I
chose not to turn my back on those who once held us steady in the crosshairs.
But my intention here is not to beat the drum about the ongoing threat from
marxist powers, but rather to address 21st-century warfare risks of all types
for Americans at home today. Terror threats, internal threats, nuclear states
emerging out of the third-world … there are a number of possibilities to
consider if you are serious about crisis preparedness.
We all know deep down that we are vulnerable in America, as
9/11 brought front and center. If you are inclined to prepare for reasonable
risks to your household's safety and well-being, then you have to give credence
to the possibility of modern full-scale warfare making a sudden, destructive
visitation upon us right where we live--and not just in New York City and
Washington, D.C.
War Happens
The nature of men and nations has remained true to form
throughout history. Ambition for power drives confrontations. Occasionally,
diplomatic safety nets collapse and all hell breaks loose.
There was a time in late 2001 and throughout 2002 when media
discussions and public service advisories had US citizens considering how to
protect themselves from biological, chemical, and radiological terror threats,
particularly in large cities. Eventually, fear gave way to suspicious cynicism
and political opportunism, until now when any such risk awareness has receded
to the bottom of the deck for most Americans still playing the game at all.
Without going there, I will just state, it is common sense
to have on hand some basic knowledge and capabilities to deal with NBC
(nuclear, bio, chem) exposures to yourself or to your area of operations. Such
dangers can come at the hands of terrorists, but they can just as easily be the
result of industrial or transportation accidents most anywhere in the country.
Consider how you can take a few simple steps to mitigate these risks--the
proverbial plastic sheeting and duct tape are a good start. Gas masks, rubber
suits and gloves, N95 surgical masks, radiation detectors, and potassium iodide
represent next steps worth taking for many.
Combat on American
Soil
I'd propose that it is not at all crazy for smart,
historically aware people to make some concessions in their crisis preparedness
planning for the possibility of violent conflict within our own borders.
Historically speaking, one might say it is inevitable.
Whether it is or not, common sense says that we are not immune from violent
conflict or from outright warfare breaking out close to home or right on our
doorstep.
International strife is in fact coming to a boil in key
corners of the world. Ethnic violence
rages and in fact is spreading in spite of progressive global enlightenment and
liberal sophistication. It’s wise to come to terms with this fact: the USA
remains objective number one for those exporting death and fear. We also are
the only obstacle in the way of another rising power from becoming top dog on
the planet.
Nuclear Sword of
Damocles
Finally, there's the everpresent ICBM nuclear weapons that
have made modern existence as precarious as a spinning toy gyroscope on a wire.
Think those days are history? If you actually ever thought so, you better
reconsider. It's the granddaddy of all modern threats and it remains
unthinkable for many out there. But don't let that difficult-to-envision
scenario stop you from taking at least remedial steps toward preparedness in
this regard. Even an all-out nuclear war IS survivable, and that is what war
planners in China and Russia count on in their doomsday gaming and planning …
elaborate measures taken to ensure the protection of millions of their own
citizens.
Unfortunately, the U.S. Civil Defense program is ancient
history, and if you are thinking that we can intercept all incoming missiles,
guess again.
So unless you believe slow agonizing death by massive
radiation poisoning is preferable to giving you and yours a shot at pulling
through in reasonable shape, then you should look into what first steps make
sense for you as you start planning your family's shelter and intermediate
survival.
War Sucks
For all the ribbons and glory, all the parades and USO
tours, warfare is something every one of us should be so blessed as to never
have to experience firsthand. Certainly we must be immensely appreciative of
those who go to war on our behalf when called upon.
However, if you fancy your crisis preparedness program to be
in any way comprehensive in scope, then you must account for hostile scenarios
of all kinds. You need not obsess over wars and rumors of wars, but as with any
other threat, to prepare well is to aspire to greater peace of mind. Do what
needs doing.

Near-term Forecast for Severe Outbreak of Adversities

These years have started to tumble by ever more quickly. The gray, the paunch, and the creases around my eyes are a constant reminder of the lengthening road at my heels. But where the physical wear and tear manifests, so too does the mental, emotional, and spiritual progress become more evident. Wisdom and true understanding do require deeper roots.
In the Preparedness and Intelligence Fields
I'm a Cold Warrior ... intell officer from way back. I was trained as an analyst by the best of the best more than 35 years ago. At the time, I was pretty much still a kid. But the wheels of time pushed and pulled. I learned and grew and moved on in life, usually two steps forward one step back ... all the while bestowing valuable experiences in various, mostly insignificant corners of the big, round world.
Recognition that civilization as we knew it had crested the hill and was on the backside of the shining mountain came very early. Some of that early recognition was "insider" info, I guess. And soon thereafter came the understanding that there really was no such thing as a benevolent government out there ready to keep us from hurting ourselves. Eventually I even came around to seeing the danger that growing behemoth was posing to freedom.
Needless to say--crisis preparedness grew to be a personal passion. Then it became an outreach effort and finally a very fulfilling business operation as well.
All of this background is to simply set the stage for what I want to say very clearly today to those who have yet to see the warning signs all around us.
Alarm
Loud and clear--in all my years of advising high-ranking military and corporate officers, and customers, peers, and others seeking my insight as an analyst, consultant, business partner, or friend, I have never before been so acutely alert to the imminent dangers right on our doorstep today. "Our" meaning any and all of us living today on this planet earth.
There are so many urgent crises on the verge of spilling over the multitude of rickety, makeshift dams that have been erected to buy more time, that it is simply mind-boggling to me that we are now reaching the point when they could all conceivably breech their containment structures all at once.
The collapsing economy around the world ... the fast-building tensions in the Middle East about to erupt in a war that could quickly engulf the world ... simmering social stresses tearing communities and nations apart ... ballooning governmental police-state mentalities sweeping through all levels of authority ... extreme climate conditions leading to very dangerous food shortages ...
I'm not a Mayan end-of-the-world believer ... the farthest from it. But it's quite the coincidence how our reality is about to be turned absolutely inside out at this particular time, isn't it? God works in mysterious ways.
It's Time
Friends, date-setting is an almost certain way to make an ass of yourself. That said, right now I have to get this off my chest, simply and fully: I don't see us getting to 2013 without going through some very drastic upheavals and convulsions in our current state of global equilibrium. Near term--the next few months--is about to get violently ugly out there, I fear.
I have felt for many years that I was pretty much as prepared as I could be. That's why I have been devoting so much of my time to helping others get ready for crises. I've always remained hopeful that somehow most of us could avoid ever having to actually fall back on our preps, but now, I think perhaps I was naive. And I'm back to doing a number of things right now that I had let slide in my own situation ... moving with urgency on some last-stage preps.
Anyway--it is what it is at this point. All we can do is steel ourselves for what is coming. I encourage all of you to seek God's will for you in prayer and make preparations accordingly.

Russian Troops Massing on Iran's Northern Border, Waiting for a Western Attack
Must read (must heed): (Excerpts ...) The Russian military anticipates that an attack will occur on Iran by the summer and has developed an action plan to move Russian troops through neighboring Georgia to stage in Armenia, which borders on the Islamic republic, according to informed Russian sources
The implication of preparing to move Russian troops not only is to protect its own vital regional interests but possibly to assist Iran in the event of such an attack. Sources add that a Russian military buildup in the region could result in the Russian military potentially engaging Israeli forces, U.S. forces, or both.
Informed sources say that the Russians have warned of "unpredictable consequences" in the event Iran is attacked, with some Russians saying that the Russian military will take part in the possible war because it would threaten its vital interests in the region.

Water Scarcity will Kill Millions and Result in Wars & Mass Migrations within 15-20 Years
It's an obvious but understated issue of the times ... many populated regions of the world are on the verge of running out of water.
If you think the worst-case scenarios for future international entanglements will hinge on economics, oil, or ethnic differences, think again. All of those things are surely emotionally charged and critical, dynamic issues that do stir up strife. But in the end, they are all negotiable.
However, extreme water crises are without realistic solutions when they reach the point of no return. Without water, people die. Within a few days.
There are geographies where water remains clean and plentiful ... where people can eat and drink and take it for granted. While in neighboring regions, cultures, economies, and nation states are painfully withering away. Peak water is near-term life or death.
In the next 10 years, there are going to be major populations at severe existential risk. Quite simply, they will need to migrate in large numbers to areas where water and food supplies are available and at least theoretically sustainable. But the big question--will those mega-migrations strain available resources and put those areas at risk?
Clearly this issue is in the fast lane toward geopolitical catastrophe. How long, if at all, will borders remain open to welcome those migrations?
This is soon to become a top-line global issue--haves and have-nots in one the most far-reaching, basic "us or them" confrontaions the world has ever seen. You may be in an area where water is not in short supply, but do not think for a moment that this issue will not reach out and change your life.
