Initiation to Preparedness...

This is the era of technology prevailing over human-kind. We are technologically dependent in our day to day lives, be it your kitchen appliances or your high-tech computers without which we are handicapped. At the same time, we have managed to find equal number of ways to destroy ourselves as well.

This is an era where there are innumerable threats to mankind, there are natural disasters and then there are disasters that are man made. We live in times of political haphazard and the immediate threat to that is WARS. We’ve all heard about wars, some of us may have witnessed wars, most of us are prepared for wars. Nuclear war is the most ‘upgraded’ version in the war industry but have you thought about a chaos, when the world as you know, will go dark? Yes, just the way they show in the alien movies.

EMP (Electromagnetic pulse), this happens around us all the time. They occur naturally during a lightning strike and hence cause electrical disruptions nearby. Now imagine, a nuclear EMP,on a scale that can affect an entire continent and destroy all modern electronics on a colossal scale (kitchen gadgets, mobile phones, computers, CARS)! Well, imagine the movie ‘War of the Worlds’ only change will be no aliens and this will be ‘War between Countries’.

As simple as that sounds, prevention is better than cure, works perfectly here!! Start now but start slow..

Things to keep in mind:

Stock up on high Quality long-term storage food: ( Good news!! There are too many options for you to choose from, so take your time!!)

Water is the Elixir of life : That is true - nothing quenches your thirst better!!

The only remote thing (next to technology that would work in this situation is - BATTERIES!!!
Anything that runs on Battery or in this case nothing!

So take some time, think about this and check our website www.safecastle.com for long-term/short-term food/water and other emergency supplies!

Let's talk more about other tips and tricks for any natural/man-made disaster in my next blog.
